Whe...Facebook is the new "job reference". When we are applying for a job we want everything our references say about us to be positive. Nowadays, agents, editors potential readers can find out everything they want to know with one click. We should be aware of that and not post or share anything we will be ashamed of. I still try not to engage in anything that will offend, but I figure I've let them know it is not a prof page.Linda Glazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04374683352435771715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2443765296489868573.post-33675832479582398612014-07-02T15:24:59.686-04:002014-07-02T15:24:59.686-04:00Lately I've been pausing more before hitting t...Lately I've been pausing more before hitting the "Enter" button on my posts, asking myself if my words are "kind" and "encouraging," or not. On FB it is so easy to quickly become passionate about something and spout off, only to regret it later. (Hmmm, seems like there is a Proverb or two that covers this.) :-)Connie Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01971207720081330254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2443765296489868573.post-61006573484614649202014-07-02T15:12:12.016-04:002014-07-02T15:12:12.016-04:00So true Davalyn :-)So true Davalyn :-)Diana Flegalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11373354354968232390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2443765296489868573.post-88406392305109796452014-07-02T11:36:53.420-04:002014-07-02T11:36:53.420-04:00We are so accustomed to our hastily spoken words e...We are so accustomed to our hastily spoken words evaporating into our personal space that we forget a hastily spouted word online is there forever.
